Experience Osvaldo Golijov’s luminous cello concerto Azul, alongside Christopher Theofanidis’s shimmering Rainbow Body, woven from a chant by the medieval mystic Hildegard von Bingen. With Kevin Puts’s Virelai and the Young Musician Competition winner on marimba, this program offers a rare blend of ancient inspiration, global rhythms, and contemporary orchestral color that feels both timeless and brand new.
